Just got the finishing touches done on my Sony HU install. (Thanks to GANNICUS and the search button on the forum for all the tech advice). I went with the Biketronics install kit and hooked it to my PBR 300x2 RF amp and Infinty Kappa 62.11i speakers. That Biketronics kit is first class.
I'm coming from a stock head unit and iPod control module. Having Bluetooth capability was important to me and basically made my decision to move to an aftermarket HU. MAN I am glad I did!!! this new unit really make these kappas talk and sound like they were meant to... the sound is truly different. I also moved all my songs in iTunes to a flash drive inside the fairing. Man how simple is that!!
I researched a little before I made my purchase but I truly believe any quality aftermarket head unit would accomplish what I was trying to achieve.. the tuning capabilities are beyond my skills. I had a little help!!
Congrat's I'm with you, same HU and same coach. Thanks a million to Gann for always being happy to share the settings he has had the best luck with, among all the other knowledge he shares.
