Default Hawg Wired Stereo Install Kits

For those of you doing aftermarket stereo installs and on the fence as to what to buy for an install kit, I'm here to tell you that Hawg Wired is top notch. I've got their speakers and amp and today installed a new Sony HU and used their Sony install kit. After removing the old HU, from the time I took the components out of the box to when the tunes were playing was no more than 30 minutes. TRUE PLUG AND PLAY! Top notch craftsmanship, works as advertised and a BREEZE to install. Kudos to Hawg Wired and Frank at Dragos Bike Works for some great pricing!

Highly recommend any Hawg Wired products and Frank at Dragos. Good people.

Does the Hawg kit include some sort of weather protective cover for the face of the HU?

Yes you can and it will also control an IPOD. That's why I went with a Sony HU and then the HW Kit. Awesome kit and fit and finish are superior!

I installed the hawg wired double shot amp and speakers, used their install kit and put in a sony cdx-m60ui radio , hawg wired is the best period, biketronics is for those looking to save a dime, much cheaper quality , you retain use of your hand contols with theirs also, they do not have the splash cover, I have an Electra Glide and I also just ordered one from biketronics and it works perfect

You're right, top notch. I've got their 150 watt amp and 70 watt speakers and installed a Sony HU with a USB input for my Ipod. The hand controls can now control my Ipod. I've run Hawg Wired systems in two bikes now and not ever one issue at all. Not cheap but worth every damn dime. I also ordered the Biketronics spash cover.

I was getting ready to order the Hawg Wired install kit this week (American Classic on E-bay has the kit for $208.00 W/shipping). My question is how much of the aluminum "surround" shows after the Sony is installed? PS: I don't really like the American Classic guys but they do have good prices from time to time, really crappy if you have to call them with a problem!!!
