I have the hawg wired system also basically its the double shot only I paid the extra $150 and got the expandable amp just in case I wanted to add another set of speakers. I have a road glide and have seen people mount speakers in the inner faring facing the forks. I picked hawg wired because I wanted to do the install myself I looked at a lot of web sites and this one had the most info on installation of them all. You can actually read the same instructions online that come in the box. I am no mechanic and the install on the hawg wired system was as easy as they said it would be. pure plug and play. I thought the quality was very good and made in the USA was a plus for me. It defanitly sounds better and louder but in the wind over 70 mph it is still hard to hear. I have the factory HK radio and don't know how much difference an after market head unit would make.
