I,too, have the Hawg Wired kit. And am also running Hog Tunes speakers.Right now, though, I think my sony isgetting ready to crap out on me. some times when I play my iPod, the fing will either freeze up or just start shuffle ing the pod. and it only does it on the bike never anywhere else.
I have a Sony cdx501M HU.

Talk to Firecap501 on this Forum. Very knowledgeable. Top Notch Service and he deals with Hawg Wired and ArcAudio. He can get you a complete system that will work perfectly.

The Hawg Wired Kit install is a true walk in the park and no issues at all. So EZ a caveman can do it lol.

I got my double shot today. I know this maybe a stupid question, but is there a bracket/adaptor that should be between the speaker and the inner fairing? I got the HW speaker grilles and with the tweeter not sitting flush with the rest of the speaker, I can't use the grilles.

Another question. When you guys get an aftermarket stereo, would you go with a unit where the cd is covered? Or doesn't it make much difference?

I also have a Biketronics setup in my bike. Avc is the Big difference between the others.Also a lifetime guaranty.I have an Alpine marine rec with tweeterpod 6 1/2 infinity speakers and an Alpine 50 watt amp.and this thing cranks.
