Default Saddlebag Audio

My first post on the sight and hope somebody can point me in the right direction. I am wanting to add an audio system to my 2012 RK. I have apes and a completely blacked out front end and I really like the way it looks so not sure I want to go with a fearing. My question is is there a system out there that I can completely install in my saddlebags? Possibly a small compact head unit so not as much room is taken up along with speakers. I would still like to have some room in the bags or at least 1 of them. Also as for the head unit maybe Bluetooth but that is not a deal breaker just as long as I could play music from my phone by plugging it in via cord.

Most guys with RK's are installing set ups with iphone/iPod Bluetooth controls to the handle bars. Not really a HU in the bags. Anything is possible.

I'll tell u you won't hear much on the hwy but a combination of lids and bag speakers is loud for around town and will leave u plenty of room with a small amp.

Check out Voodoo bikeworks 8.8 lids! throw a good/small 2 channel amp in 1 bag then run it off your phone or ipod! this is what I'd do on a King!

I'd throw a set of Hertz HCX 690's or a set of Moto 692's in the saddles bags with a Cerwin Vega B52 amp and run it of the IPod. As haze said. The possibilities are endless.

Will the hertz 690's fit in the lids and allow the lids to hinge?

Which lids?

If your taking about the regular 6X9 lids out there -- Hogtunes, Cycle sounds, etc.

Yes the fit no problem.
