Thank you tailwind for taking the time to post pics. I guess the only question that I'm left with is concerning the tweeter that you removed. Was the tweeter mount part of the tweeter itself? I guess I'm asking if another tweeter could have been mounted to the tweeter mount or was the mount part of the tweeter? Hope that makes since to you...
Totally makes sense. The tweet mount for the HT speakers was a nice little side insert that slid right into the bag speaker bowl and yes it was part of the tweet. The BT looks like the adapter / tweet bar if very different. I would not try to mount the BT tweet to this HT mount. I actually ended up dremmeling part of the tweet bridge off of mine as all of the speakers on my list are one piece set ups. The only part I kept was to keep the HT speaker bowl water tight.
I would give Bill a call and am certain the they will have numerous solutions regarding the BT 6x9s and the 2014+ HT lids.
Sorry brotha, but went a different direction for lid speakers and don't want to give you bad info leading to you pulling the trigger on this set up.
