Dragginframe needs a 4 speaker setup guys. It's for an Ultra.
I'm thinking Kappas up front, Kickers in the rear pods, and several amps to choose from. SS pn4.520, SS pn4.1000 to name a few.
Thanks! Do you have a preference on which model kappas and kickers to go with and what amp would match up good with those? Would you recommend me switching out the head unit also? Thanks

Now your opening up a whole new can of worms. Absolutely recommend changing the HU. Here's the tricky part...you wish to retain FM. Before I make any suggestions I need to know what your budget is. Retaining FM makes things a little harder because you narrow down the amps available.
If the forum rules allow it, I get that. It will get old though, if every time he posts something, it turns into a sales event.
This has happened before on another forum I belonged to. "You can get that here" the "here" being a link to his site. Just hope that doesn't happen here cuz this is a GREAT forum with GREAT members! It can turn ugly in a hurry...I've seen it!
Just my $.02

Appreciate the help so far Bates! I just took the outer shell of the bike an hour ago and everything is tagged with HD part numbers, so I presume it's all stock. I guess I don't really NEED the FM radio, but it sure is nice... I wanna say my budget is to try n keep everything under 800$ max. I'd really like to stay around 500, but now that I've discovered changing out the HU, I guess I now have to raise my budget a little. And I'm not looking for anything to win audio competitions, I just wanna be able to turn it up louder than what stock gives me AND keep the clarity. Thanks again!
The SS PN 1000D
Infinity kappa 62.11i
Kicker ksc674 for the rear
This set up is about $350
It's a good setup sounds great. Just put the Kickers in the rear pods on my 14 limited they are a warm good sounding speaker and the Kappas scream with that amp

Add this Sony HU and these 6.5" mount rings and your good to go. This combo will get you a fine sounding system for under $600.

Thanks BabyBoy! Just did some shopping on amazon and those 3 things you suggested came to 325 shipped! Now I just need to do some more research on what the pros and cons of replacing the head unit are...
5.25 to 6.5 adaptors
An amp install ki
and a roll of polyfill /polyester batting
It is likely that that amp will cause you to lose FM reception. With an aftermarket HU you have tons more options. Pandora, Sirius radio, stream from your phone, etc. It makes a HUGE difference in sound quality. You're looking at about 150.00 for radio, 40.00 for install kit and 100.00 for the hand control module.
That system is night and day over what you have now.
