Default Amp wiring

All wires are ran, most are connected and waiting to be powered up.... One problem.
I have rear speaker wires coming from my radio that need somewhere to go and my head unit only has one set of pre outs, while the amp has two.
Do I land the rear speaker wires from the head unit harness to the amp, and do I need a splitter since the head unit has one set of pre outs and the amp has two?

If u want to retain fader control get a high to low RCA converter and use your rear speaker wires for the rear channel.

You can use splitter on your RCA as well but will lose fader ability.

So the question still stands, do I wire the rear speaker wires from the radio to the amp or just tie them up?
Also does the RCA from the radio go to the front or rear outs on the amp?... Maybe I should have worded my initial question that way.
