Default Mesh Trash can grill Infinity Kappa's

Hello all I'm wondering can i use the mesh trash can grill method on the Rushmore model bike? I have the kappa's and I'd like to mount them on the "outside" of the pods but I don't want to have to buy the boom grills and to be honest I'm anxious to get this installed has anyone done the trash can method on a newer bike?

I can prob guarantee u 100% that using kappas on the outside of the pods, u will end up with damaged kappas. In a short time as well. Mine were torn within 3 months.

Thanks for the reply these kappa's turn into an expensive upgrade once you purchase the items needed to make them work!

A little mod to the pod and the Kappas fit right inside. Took me about 10 min a pod to fit. Pieces of pie

I have been reading mixed reviews on mounting speakers with the pods, what's your experience?

The Kappas sound good in the pods in the garage. By the time I got everything together and installed the weather took a turn and haven't been able to finish up my install tuning outside . Since I have a few months of down time I am fabricating some brackets for the fairing to try out instead of spending the $$on the BT BRACKET
