Default Rushmore Batwing Budget Speaker Brackets

As Haze mentioned in another post I have been brain storming on a speaker bracket for the BUDGET MINDED. As I have said before this time of year I have more time then money and too dam cold to be out riding.
I came up with the idea of building complete brackets similar to the ones Biketronics sells but came to the conclusion yes it can be done,I did fabricate one up after making a template. But for the time I had into building 1 bracket I had my other idea completed and functional.

What I did was use half of the existing speaker pod that the speaker mounts to, fabed up a 3 brackets for each side and one to hold the CB MODULE on the clutch side. After mounting everything and securing the wires I am very happy with the outcome.
The sound quality and lows are ALOT better than having the speakers (Kappa's) enclosed in the pods ,my wife even noticed the extra lows and better sound.

All criticism, approvals and whatever you want to call it is welcome.I have BIG SHOULDERS so post you comments good, bad or ugly I don't care

This is just me using what I had laying around the shop and making use of what was available.

Great idea Badyboy! I never would have thought of this. Now you know what we have been saying about getting the speakers out of the pods.

I also have a concern about how long they will last. I have had these things in my hands and tapped one against something and didn't realize until much late the bottom corner of he pod was shattered.

That's a great idea. Any noticeable fairing shake? Doesn't look like you would have any though

There is little to no inner fairing movement.
That was my main concern but I used as many of the original mounting points and tied everything to the amp bracket and the lower mount (knuckle buster) under the radio. As for a road test that will have to wait for the weather to break as it is in the single digits here.

Very creative but just gonna throw this cave man inquiry out there. At what point do u think u lose structural integrity of the fairing as a result of pod mods?

Something to consider for sure, right?
