Hey all.. It's been a bit, but I am finally back to this project. I took my batwing apart to get the inside of it painted. My wife also got me the Sony MEX- GS610BT per Haze's suggestion. If you all remember my FM issues and me going back to stock. So right now all I have is the stock speakers and the new HU. Once I get my fairing painted I plan to put this all back together, but I think I should at a minimum for now upgrade the stock speakers. I don't want to spend a ton, because I plan to add an amp and bigger speakers later after I know the FM issue is gone with a new HU...!! Any suggestions on speakers to go with this HU? I also do NOT like the grills I got, nor the rear cloth ones. Any suggestions in that area?

 

buy the best speakers you can afford to buy now and be done with that. No sense throwing in speakers that you know you're going to change later on.

Throw you a set of BT 7.1" in the fairing now and just know that they aren't going to sound their best until you put an amp on them. Since you're running an Ultra, I would suggest the BT4180
