Im going to attempt a little something like this, but in the rear of the bag. I bought some frogskin material to cover the inside to prevent moisture in the bag.
That looks pretty damn aggressive but cool!!!
Was thinking more like the one below with some bigger holes mixed in.
The fancy chrome or anodized mount / cover is like 230 clams. Ouch!!!!
Think the drill bit approach will work perfect. Let me know where u get ur frog skin stuff.

I agree! I saw the chrome grills and thought that's crazy. Not to mention I think they look like ****!
I've already done like the pic you posted. Going to try to do what you're saying and incorporate some bigger holes as well. Don't get too froggie on the frogskin. I bought a 3x5 ft piece for like $45. (Only way I could get it) I can send you enough to do 2 6x9's no problem. And still have enough to do about 8 more speakers. ..lol

Right now I just threw some kickers in there that I already had.
Will probably go with the BT479. ARC sensitivity was like 88 v the BT at 94. Focal in parallel is 93.

Thoughts?

Won't be able to put the BT's in the bags. They have a separate tweeter designed specifically for the lids. You would have to get the HAT version to go in the bags.
