Sony HU & BT7.1???

I installed sony MEX-GS610BT and BT 7.1's. I am currently waiting on my 4180 to arrive. I was very disappointed in the sound. It was very crappy. I assumed replacing the HU and speakers would drastically improve sound.....not so much! I hope after installing the amp I get the sound everyone raves about out of the 7.1's.

This is why we tell people all the time that upgrading without an amp is a waste of time. Once you get the amp in place you'll have that grin on your face you've been expecting.

I have that exact set up with the 4180 and 4/7.1's......was out with a buddy of mine last Sunday......he has open pipes on his 2000 softail...........had to show him how good the system was.........pulled up along side him and turned it up to about 35 out of 50.... and he told me he couldn't hear his pipes anymore and that it was CLEAR!!

you WILL love it!!
