Default Micro AMPS

2014 SGS and not much room under the hood for a second amp. Only want to power one set of 6x9s inside the bags, famous last words, but curious if anyone has tried the SS ST4.1000D, Rockford Fosgate 500x2, PA CA4-1600D, etc...

Currently have issues with my HU signal when adding an additional amp but if that can be resolved, looking to try and jam a BT4180 and another micro amp in the top shelf of the audio bay. The PA C4-1600D looks like the best fit.

Want to push the ARC Moto 692 or the BT479.

Thanks!!!!

I need to get to Houston so we can figure this out!

Another option is wire the lids with the smaller amp. The SS in that list is weak, gotta look at the others. A cerwin b2 if it fits would be perfect.

Also 2ohm + 4ohm = 1.33ohm at the amp. There ohm calculators online if you want to figure out what you ohm load is when wiring multiple speakers in series or parallel.

I'm thinking based on the pics by vision, either of these bridged would fit and work.

Cool, thanks!!!

Of course I could just drag the sled in to a pro and be done with this resistance / amp issue but have been told that this is not authorized per the unicorn hunting bylaws.

Might have to get an exemption, and just get it done. So if I can find the perfect micro, I might just turn this over to the smart guys that do this for a living.

Do I need to pull out my thinking cap and pull my fairing back off??

If you give me some dimensions so i can cut a block of wood and start fabing.I'm sure I get a second amp (with in reason on size)to fit in the Rushmore fairing.

That NVX would be a piece of pie

Lol

Edit I LIKE A GOOD CHALLENGE

I will try and open the hood today and get some measurements. I have the J&M tray in there thus I think I have a little more room than u would expect. I think the concern is the front to back length versus the left to right length. The little Kingwood 600w that I tried fit perfect on width but was about 2 inches too long towards the front tire.
Will report back exactly what I have on the tray and any other spots that might work on the clutch side BT bracket.

Thanks!!!!
