Sorry but I could not come up with a tittle for this.
I have been using my old iPhone 5 for a iPod. It is constantly plugged in and I noticed something
strange the other day while moving the bike. You know the sound the phone makes when you plug it in to charge?
Well ignition off, fob on the seat I moved the bike and heard that sound. It seems that the phone starts charging
when the security is disabled. When the bike sits still and the bikes security is on the phone is not charging.
14 FLHXS, Stock flash and latest software.
Anyone else notice this?
15 RGS here and mine does it too. When the fob is present and you try to move the bike, I believe, it kinda wakes up the electrical system and the infotainment gets some juice.
Guess I never noticed with the iPod, and the iPod was always charged. With the iPhone in about 3 days it will go dead if I don't ride ,network, cellular and everything is off... Just using it as a iPod because I can use a EQ that I downloaded to make the music sound better.
