A local shop actually built them and already have that on lock.

I like the design as it half encloses the speakers. Two things you can ask them for me if you have a chance. What are their thoughts on air space and a sub disrupting the 8 in your lid (my guess is that's why it's not completely free air). The other question is did you consider two 8's in the place of your SV200's vs. 1 ten inch? If so, then it kinda goes back to question one, about an enclosure, free air and air space with other speakers.

I don't think subs are impossible on a bike. I've heard some sweet ones, but the install is critical where most folks just think they can slap some in a bag and that's it. One of the best sounding bikes I've ever heard was a Roadking and it had an ST44, 10 inch and 6X9 all in a custom enclosure completely sealed up and it was perfect sounding.

Haze I can certainly ask the their thoughts and rational on it. I would love to see that enclosure for the RK. Any pictures by chance or know who owned it?

It's a small local part-time shop.

I have a video of it at bike night....you can't see much because it's night time but message me your number and I'll text it to you. Bike was insane loud on a Roadking! Dude said the box made all the difference.

Kesean, your whole setup intrigues me. I'm a fan of pro audio setups and running full DD on my bike...well, more like 'was' since it's apart. Picked up Hertz and was thinking about a full switch. Have you compared to anyone else running a pro audio system?

I appreciate any info!

I thought I saw your bike on a familiar page. I believe I saw an earlier version of that sub enclosure. Of course I had to sign a non disclosure agreement...lol
How do you like the new head unit? Depending on the model its about $250 more than the Kenwood or Sony. I was just wondering what I get for that extra money?

I really like the pro audio set up. Loud, crisp and clear and will most likely drown out anyone riding with you. I've done it a few times, LOL! Now I will say you do sacrifice the low end. You get more of a punch than bass response. If your genre of music is rock and country then its most ideal. If its jazz, r&b, or hip hop then you will need something a little extra for bass accommodations. Now I have heard a bike that had a mix. He used (4) 6x9's to give him the low end needed and sounded really nice with the Hertz SV165.1, ST35 and ST25. Wasn't sure on the amp(s) he was running.

I will post a video soon of my set up. As I said earlier I was on the fence about adding a sub but I'm glad I did. Those that have heard it are now inquiring about how they can get their sounds hooked up.

Most likely you did and I have been bound myself by a NDA, LOL!

The head unit is nice but the Sony and Kenwood will give you the same thing. I think the cost is more do to it being completely waterproof and a direct plug and play. I do like the fact that you can place your iPod inside and also has a USB plug as well plus bluetooth. So several ways to play music. Adjustability is ok, I think you may be able to do a little more with the other two but don't quote me on it as I haven't played around with the other two. Haze or Gann maybe be able to tell you more about the other two.
