No man! Wasn't disagreeing about the bass aspect! I'm full aware of the differences of PA speakers. I was referring to the analogy of the rock concert thing. I believe the PA speakers have as much of a quality musical sound as conventional speakers. After running many setups over the last few years I think a good PA setup can produce phenomenal sound on a motorcycle. The analogy made me think you're opinion is PA speakers are more spl than sql, that's what I disagreed with. It's all good though! We all like our own flavors and that's what helps the bike audio world evolve.
So guys, what do you think about throwing a set of Milles in the fairing and running the SV's in the lowers?
Kesean, I get what you're saying with the 44s in the lids. I'm already running the B2s there and they're not overbearing, guessing the 44s aren't going to put out THAT much more.
If you are thinking running running 3 sets of horns then I would go with another pair of SV165.1 in the lowers personally. But I do like the Millie. I have them on my Limited with the Arc 600.4.

If I run a set of Milles in the fairing, I'll keep to only 2 pair of horns.
Next debate is what lids to run...pulled off my current 6x9 lids because I didn't like the bottom spacer mount design. I'm torn between doing 8's or maybe keep it simple and just add another set of 6.5s...

Yeah, I totally talked myself out of doing 8 lids. Took days to convince myself I didn't need them...
You actually did me a favor my friend. I wouldn't have pulled the trigger, then spent a few months regretting it until I got them anyways.
Now I just need to find who to get them from and if I need to sign up as a dealer with another company lol! Lid options are terrible with the rushmore bikes and the dang latch system.
Think I'm def going to run the sv's in the lowers, mille's & 35s in the fairing, sv in the lids, memphis 8s in the bags, 44s somewhere else. Still tossing the power options all over the place, def want to run 2 Diamond micro2v2's up front to balance out the different speakers, unsure of the bags. Maybe 600.4? Think that would be enough?

For the best deals I found that Kip from Scrub Cycles or Cam Johnson from Bad Azz Bikes will be be your best bet on the 8"s. I would also talk to Pete at DA Performance as well. You can certainly become a dealer yourself if it makes it easier on you. Concerning lids talk to Kody from Voodoo or you can go with Speed by Design. I think they are the only two that currently make lids for the 14's and up that will accommodate the 8"s. Before my change I was running two Diamond Micro 4v2. But I think the Arc 600.4 or the JL 600/6 will be plenty of power for the everything you are running in the bags. As far as the ST44's you will have plenty of room to place them in the bags as well. Same location I have the ST25's in my bags would work.

I'm already a Scrub Cycles and VooDoo dealer, I don't see anything at Scrub for the 14+ though. Speed by Design requires to much of a buy-in at this point, picking up Hertz and hopefully Sundown audio on top of re-building the audio on the shop bike is running me THIN lol.
I was leaning towards going the 2 Diamond up front, 600.4 in the bags route. Wanted a second opinion!
