So I'm not rich but i got a beer taste on a wine budget. I'm thinking a soundstream 2 channel amp or cerwin vega 2 channel amp pushing some Polk mm651.
Only using 2 speakers, could you guys tell me the following?
1. Do i still need a inline high level like the biketronics or would cheaper version be ok? ... Like a best buy version
2. Suggest any other speaker and or amp? Not interested in Rockford amp.
I only use iPod or Bluetooth so fm interference is not a concern from amp.
... In closing if your selling something along my line pm me.

Welcome to my world brother.
I'm on a beer budget with a wine budget also.
I don't know what your budget is as you didn't post it. BUT you can have DAM good sounding system for around $400
Just using the front is going to sound good if you just spend a little time tuning.
The line levelers from Best Buy will work fine on a budget system.
Set them at 2 volts AC and tune the amp to the speakers you are using.
This is one of the videos I did and they don't do the reproduction all that well.It much better in person
I initially started off with a Cerwin Vega B2 matched up with Arc Audio Moto 602's with a SNI-35 and dealer flash. I really liked it and regret selling my B2.
I paid around $425 for everything
The newer B52 had an extra 50 watts a side at 4 Ohm: 200Wx2

This is what I'd do on a budget, but I'd go with the BT line leveler!

Oh great, now I'M the BAD guy....ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matt, just glad that you saw that I was being funny. BTW got it the other day and man you were'nt lying. That thing is tiny, hard to believe it packs so much power in such a small package. I ordered the BT355 today and will probably start tearing the fairing apart on Wednesday to do the install.
Just as a note to anyone interested in the BT355 for the Rushmore bikes, if you use the HDFORUM code it is good for 10% off at Biketronics. It takes the cost down to 67 and change with free shipping. Hope this helps others.
As far as the dynamat is concerned I'm torn between that and just using some silicone to seal the pods in my Road Glide. The Batwing from what I understand needs to be sealed and the speakers need to be mounted inside the pod with a port hole drilled into it for best results.(Finally I got lucky with mine, just seal it up and thats it.)
I'm going to add some polyfil just to psyche my self into thinking it sounds just a little better.
