Default Inner Fairing Brace

When I change my 5.25 speakers to 6.5 using the adapters, what do I do with the brace that mounts to the existing 5.25. I don't see how it can work with the adapters.

Nothing changes. The Bracket hooks to screw at approximately 7:00 o'clock on the speaker. What you have to do is loosen up both bolts and attach the side with the hook on it first. The bracket will appear to be in a bind but once you tack the other side down it will straighten out.

Thanks. Looking at the back of the speaker, the brace is mounted in the bottom right hole of the speaker.it just didn't seem like the adapter ring would mount over it.

The adapter ring mounts under the brace. Install the adapter, then speaker, then brace.
