When listening to a CD while riding the music will very briefly cut out for a split second intermittently out of both speakers. It doesn't seem to do this when listening to the radio though. It also doesn't do this when listening to a CD with the motor off.
I can't say for sure that it's related to the headlight but it's the only thing that changed from last riding season.
