Want tunes!!!!!
I bought a new to me 2000 road king classic. I love not having a fairing. The problem is I also want tunes. I think the best option is the handle bar mounted speakers with a bluetooth amp/receiver. I also have the leather bags on my bike and dont want hard bags. So I am looking for a decent sounding system that doesnt cost more than a couple hundred bucks at most. That I can still hear at highway speeds. Im sure this has been covered. I just dont want to waste money on something that isnt going to work.
I went with the Rumble Road 4" handlebar speakers and a Shark amp in a tool bag on my forks. The speakers sound good and are 2 way Pioneer speakers. Not great but the best housing and mounts I have found. You can replace with better speakers using the same mounts later. The Shark amp works great and has a remote you can mount to the handlebars as well. I got the 4.1 channel 1400 Watt version because I might get hard bags and add more speakers in the future, but if you are just going to do the two speakers then the 4 channel 1000 Watt would work for you. They have two 2-channel amps but one is 600 Watts with no bluetooth and the other is 250 Watts which doesn't seem like it would be powerful enough.
