Can anyone tell me if there is a way to check what my radio is set at? I need to know if it has a flash that is currently in it. I bought my bike used with the Boom set up and removed it all. I am now running a BT4180 with LL's and focal's front and read.
I love the highs and its clear, but I don't have any bass at all. I've messed with the EQ but can't get any real lows. I thought I should check and see if there was ever a flash put in it.

The only way to know you have a stock flash is to take it to a dealer and have them check. You will want the Stock Flash, NO amp(s) and fade enabled.

How are you adjusting the EQ?
I have tried to increase the bass and treble both and lower the treble and increase the bass etc...
I think I will take into the dealer to have a quick look and then if I still don't care for the sound there may be some major changes coming.
I feel like I might be starting down a rabbit trail that doesn't have a rabbit....
There is a way to check what bin file is flashed in your bike. (.bin file is the EQ file)
If you use the on board diagnostic tool, there is a section for the AUDIO part.
Press and HOLD the MUTE button while turning the ignition on with the run switch in the RUN position. Wait until the confirmation message comes up. Confirm and release the MUTE button.
Now there are some options like DTCs, display test, audio, Navi settings, info and so on.
In the AUDIO section select EQ. That will list all applicable EQ and audio options. Scroll through to find the one that is currently loaded (orange background).
I see you have a RG. My stock flash on my RGS was (I'm 99 % sure.... OK 90% sure...) was 00_OFF.bin
I had it flashed to activate fader and four speakers for future upgrades. No amps upper fairing, rear pods and ended up with 02_OFF.bin (again I'm pretty sure)
The ON and OFF bin files are a set. One with engine running and one not.
If it had BOOM amps in it I'm sure the amps were selected when they installed them. Hence taking the low frequency with it.
When you have it flashed back make sure it is flashed with NO AMPS. The line levelers will take care of the aggressive bass.
Also they will have to recheck all your options (like bluetooth)

So if I check the File and post it here, someone can tell me what the flash is at?
There are two bin files that need to be looked at. One when the bike if off, and one while the bike is running. Seeing as the OP has NO bass I would recommend bringing it into the dealer to make sure. It takes 5 minutes to check.

The bin files will be the same set of numbers, only difference will be one is ON and one is OFF.
I suspect reason he has NO bass is he has a bin file that suspends the bass because he had a BOOM amp in it. So the dealer HAD to put in a flash for the amp to make it work. Plus he is running a line leveler which will probably reduce the bass even more.
He will need to go to the dealer to have it flashed back to NO amps.
The OP just wanted a quick check.
