Default Stereo check

After reading about stereo systems for my 15RGS I have it narrowed down. Just need some thoughts and opinions on the two I chose.

Rockford Fosgate TM400xad amp with M650-CCX-SG-TB 6.5 JL speakers up front (IF THEY WILL FIT) and
M770-CCX-SG-TB 7.7 JL rear speakers with speed by design lids.

The second system I'm thinking about is Biketronics BT 4180 amp with Biketronics road glide front speaker kit and the
M770-CCX-SG-TB 7.7 rear speakers with speed by design lids

Both systems will be rUnning at 4ohms

There's plenty of info on these forums, I'd read more, save cash and get a better system.

You'll get more power out of the BT 4180 but the TM400x4 will give you tunability.

Don't forget to pickup a couple BT355 Line Levelers (you'll need a front and a rear)

Curious why you chose the JL's? 880's I can see but the 7.7 are actually 6.75 drivers, only barely bigger than the plethora of 6.5's out there.

Bunker --- I only know of two choices for 8.8's. The Voodoo ones a friend sent back immediately because they didn't fit well (and this guys knows his ****); and the Infamous ones the jury is still out. Never seen one installed yet.

As far as the 7.7 speakers go, they're pretty good. They pump out a good amount of low end and have a full sound to them. I'd choose different fairing speakers and wouldn't focus so much on marine grade audio here.

Bunker, I'm going with the 7.7 because that's what the Speed by design lids allow for. I'm going with speed BT design for a couple reasons. The ease of installation and the availability of their lids. I saw them first hand at Arizona bike week and I was impressed by the installation and how they looked and sounded.
I'm coming from a street glide that had all JM rocker components like front speakers 500 watt amp and rear speakers in the lids. Decent stuff but expensive. Plus I couldn't keep anything dry in the bags when it rained and I do some touring. About 16000 miles a year
