Go to the top of the section you're looking to post in - audio for example - and you will see a "New Thread" button just above all the threads listed for that section.

If you decide to purchase, send email to audio@jmcorp.com for your HD-Forums VIP 20% disc code.
Funny...when I click on that link, I read this...
The world's most powerful 2-channel amp for your harley bagger stereo!
Which is conveniently a flat out lie...

Go to the sections home page, like Audio Systems home page. Above the stickies you'll see a Start New Thread button.

I think in this case the question by the OP was, what is a good amp for a set of Hertz HCX 165's. So with that being the focus, lucky for me is that I've had those speakers and have had them connected to a B52, Arc 600.4, BT 4180, PN4.1000D, Hertz HDP4, and the list goes on. I would say that Slyedog nailed it, the 150w mark for those speakers is on the money. Each of the amps I just listed made those speakers sing, in contrast I also had an Arc 125.2 and the 75w however "clean" they were, was not enough to hear those speakers at speeds. Being that the JM amp advertised above is rated at 165w at 2ohm, for some reason they don't publish the 4ohm specs (maybe I missed them) I would assume that amp puts out less than 100w at 4ohm? If so, I'd recommend going with something with more juice behind it like the Cerwin B52 or the amp Sly is selling that is a the same amp as the B52 at it's core with some upgrades to the internal components.
Ditto!!

Sorry guys nothing to do with Jimmy's question, but I saw when this question was asked, he only had 2 posts at that point. Not sure what it needs to be but bet at least 10 is my guess? A great place to get your post count up is the new members section. Hope this helps.

Why not spend a few dollars more and go with a B54 and bridge it? This leaves room for upgrades.

I wouldn't throw 300 watts to set of HCX 165's. Especially from the stock HK HU. That's a recipe for blowing speakers man.

Truth in website advertising ?

J&M's ROKKER® XXR ! Series
---- THE world’s most powerful 2-ch amplifier for your Harley Bagger audio system ,,,,

http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....D=JAMP-330HC06
Output Power (RMS) @ 1% THD 1000Hz 14.4V
Stereo @ 2ohms 2 x 165 watts RMS Continuous
MSRP $550 with 20% HDFORUMS discount = $440
Dimensions:
7 1/4” X 4 ¾" X 1 ¾”

Biketronics BT2180 - 180W RMS X 2 @ 4 Ohm

http://www.biketronics.com/bt2180-180w-rms-x-2/
0.05% THD
2 - Ohm Stable
2 x 180 watts RMS @ 4 Ohms
2 x 360 watts PEAK @ 4 Ohms
MSRP $450 with 10% HDFORUMS discount = $405
Dimensions:
5" x 5" x 1.8"

The Biketronics BT2180 specs show more power with 20X less Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and better MSRP and discounted prices than the J&M (3 for 3). "
THE world’s most powerful 2-ch amplifier" maybe a bit of a stretch.
