You forgot the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT and LIFETIME WARRANTY
for the BIKETRONICS
True, Biketronics support is fantastic and you can't beat that warranty.
I haven't had any issues with J&M. On a previous bike, a J&M speaker went bad and J&M replaced it with no problem. I had those until I moved onto a Biketronics setup.
J&M's ROKKERŽ XXR ! Series ---- THE world’s most powerful 2-ch amplifier for your Harley Bagger audio system ,,,,
JM audio sells equipment that is mediocre at best that is severely over priced. So they have to resort to lots of deceptive advertising (lies) and hype to suck in buyers that have on clew.
Biketronics on the other hand probably sells most of there audio equipment by work of mouth. Very good equipment at a great price with no hype.
I wouldn't throw 300 watts to set of HCX 165's. Especially from the stock HK HU. That's a recipe for blowing speakers man.
id spring for the cvb54 and use 2 channels now. once your bitten by the "audio bug" you'll be thinkin bout adding 2 more speakers and the amp will be ready to go
