Default Uneven output voltage from amp...

is annoying!

I have the exact same out put on my Line Levelers (both channels on both Line Levelers) but my output from the 600.4 is off by about .8 volts on BOTH the front right and left right.

It wasn't as noticeable when I was only running the fronts but it's realy noticeable now that I've added the rears.

Question: can up up the voltage out on the output of the Line Leveler for the right sides without issue?

I had the same issue on my install.
Instead of turning the side that has lower voltage up I turned the higher voltage down to match the lower and keep the HU from going into a destorted input signal

Man, I really really want to help ya out here but my BT4180 does all that shix AUTOMATICALLY and keeps it all within 00000001 super micro milli volts so I can't offer much support.

Tailwind and slyedog are funny guys, laugh it up!

Tuning down is probably a good idea but I like pushing the edge

In all seriousness. You are converting a high level output to a low level. There will be potential output difference from the source signal (ie factory head unit). That's the point of gain matching. Example is the ability to adjust your exact issue. Set the amps output to your desired level with the gain and all should be fine. Edit. Never mind your amps output is different not the input signal. I think that's just the nature of the beast.

So dialed it all in last night, 34volts +/- .1 to each speaker front and rear.

Output started a 2.0 volts from the Line Levelers (14/17 volume), set gains on amp and checked voltage at speakers. Adjusted the high down and the low up to meet at 34 volts at the speakers via adjustment on the Line Leveler.

I had initially dialed everything in at 34.5 volts (34.6 is what I calculated) but as stated, the left side was louder than the right (and off on voltage).

Going for a long ride today with my CVMA guys, meeting up with some of the LA chapter guys in Marksville, LA.

I'll report back tonight if I'm not to tired

Success!

I am no longer hunting for anything else in my front stage. Rears I will be looking at in the future I think.

The rears I can barely hear over the front Focal's but you absolutely can hear the sound coming from the rear up to about 70 then I loose it. Tested some pipe and drums and I could hear the drums behind me on the freeway (I was 2nd in line, 4th was on a trike and asked if I was playing bagpipe music )
