I'm getting ready to help a friend upgrade the audio in his 2010 street glide. Right now it's just going to be an aftermarket radio, amp, and 2 front speakers. He's thinking that he might want to do speaker lids later so going to need a 4 channel amp. Budget is around $600 and fm reception don't matter. He already has a h/u that he is going to use so will just have to buy the bt retro radio. I have a set of bt 7.1s that I said I would sell him for $100...which amp should he go with...thanks
Thoughts? I'm thinking the ss pn4 1000d. That's what I have in my 14sg I have just never put one in a '10 so I'm not sure on how it fits. Open to any other opinions.
Ya that's what I was thinking and that's the amp that I'm going to suggest he buy. I think I'm just nervous about installing it for him because I've never installed in that year bike...thanks for the reply

Do you have to rig up some kind of mount for it or do you just Velcro it right to the top of the aftermarket h/u...I'm not sure which h/u he has...thanks again
Search Soundstream pn4.1000d. There are a ton of threads on installs. It's a tight fit, but it does fit. You'll need to reroute the stock wiring harness. Your gonna say to yourself there's no way the fairing is going back on. Be patient, take your time, and you will succeed.
Ok...I'm thinking the original budget has been blown because he just ordered some speaker lids....what 6x9 would you suggest to pair up with the ss amp and the bt 7.1s...I was thinking arc motos but just want to make sure....thanks again

Or what do you guys think about infinity 6.5s in front and infinity 6x9 in back pushed by the ss amp

Motos. U might sniff out the brand new Hertz Millie MPX 6x9 as guys are just starting to try these out. Certain to have better sound quality than the Moto 6x9 but hope they bring the bass as well.
LL247 can let u know the price delta between the Millies and Motos and possible pro cons as I have not heard the Millie 6x9s but I do like Hertz SQ.
Of course u could always get both sets and put the Motos inside the bags!!!!!!!!
