Default Mex-m70bt head unit

Is the Sony mex-m70bt better then the Sony 310? Thinking of switching, no real reason to though.

The M70BT is the Marine version with 5v preouts instead of 4v. Sound quality might be a tad better depending on the music source. I like em both!!

+1. On Ganns recommendation I put one in my bike and just picked up another for my car so I can spend more time with it and learn all the stuff it does. Just FYI, I'm running a RZ-4.2000 and lost all FM, well almost all. FM was perfect before amp install.

Both good choices, but even though I'd take the 70 over the 310...I'm running the 310 lol. It was on closeout and couldn't beat it.

The 70 is what I'm having a close look at need a hu with white background and black text so I can see it with the glare on a road glide. Was looking at a jvc marine hu but the Sony mex-m70bt has lots more features. I also wanted one with front and rear usb inputs

I heard a lot of complaints about the kenwoods display,i can see mine clear as day.My 70 has a lot of options i probably will never use.my bike is orange and i can turn the color display to match which was sweet.

I have the Sony MEX-M70BT receiver and really like it. Prior to this, I had a JVC unit that was also very nice, but impossible to view in sunlight. The Sony completely cured that. JVC now has a nice priced marine unit that might be a reasonably priced option.
