1st for me
Fast forward the Kenwood has since been replaced with a Sony's DSX-MS60,
The ARC with JL MHD 600/4
The surrounds on the Hertz were torn so I replaced with Audiofrog GS693's.
The Hertz have been in a box in the garage for the past 6 months. I made several calls to Hertz for repair they do not repair only replace in warranty, called several speaker repair shops, and they said I would have to send them in for an estimate, paying both ways for regardless I just put Em in a box.
After a little more research I decided to repair them myself, bought the rubber surrounds for $29.00/pair, came with the surrounds, glue, and instructions, I ripped the old ones out, cleaned everything up, glued the surround to the cone, wait 1 hr, then glued the surround to the frame. Not the prettiest but better then being in a box or the garbage. Will be swapping out the Polks in the saddlebags tomorrow.
