My Krc's rock at 80, but I have two sets, one set in fairing and another in lowers. This is with a 4180

Yeah on the SG with the KRC's in the fairing and the Mille's in the lower which are a good combo. The KRC's can be heard clearly at 80. The down side to this combo is the KRC's over power the Mille's and the Mille's fade out at speed do to there locations. From what I understand most speakers will fade in the lowers anyway. Nature of the beast.

With the focals in both I have the fairing tweeter crossover set at -6 and the lowers set to 0. Don't get that option with the krc replacments. Not saying it's the best front stage setup at all, just how I have mine set up. In fact I'm going to be experimenting with different combos soon.

I am currently running the same amp with the stock 6.5gt HU.
I just recently swich out my KAPPA 62.11 with ARC MOTO 602 in the fairing and Hertz HCX 165 in the tour pack pods.

I found the Arc to have a nice warm sound and pretty punchy in the fairing.
The HCX in the rear pods give me the highs and some good bass until momma climbs on and the highs go away from her blocking the tweets and balances out the system for the highs

I was thinking there was a 2 ohm better version of these. Guess these are what we were all looking into few months back. I will retract my statement that they will not stand with the mille and they would likely do better in most aspects. I would still want a better amp for them to shine to potential. If I had the mille already though I wouldn't ditch them for these without a better amp anyway.

Word.

700.00 sound quality speakers with a 150.00 amp????

Has anyone actually set the KRC's or the KRX2 Focals up with the soundstream amp and made a comparison with a high end amp such as the Moto 600.4 or the JL 600/4?
