So I broke down and ordered a BT 4180 amp and speaker brackets. I have enough dynamat to choke a rushmore fairing bt line levelers and breakout harness.
Soooo the next issue. Speakers front and rear.
What is the consensus on sq speakers brand wise?
Does anyone have any experience with morel, Dynaudio or other sq brands that we don't see mentioned much?
Quick question for Haze if he sees this... Did you use any staging in your current setup?
In reality a lot of what is ran here is SQ speakers. High end Hertz, Focal, HAT, Etc. Morel makes excellent products, as well as rainbow, dyna audio as you mentioned. But how do they sound on a bike at 80. IDK??
You got the cash always wondered what these would sound like http://www.linearpower.com/LP6.5C.html
Nope, no staging or imaging on a bike. Kinda tough to place speakers plus sitting in an open environment and traveling at speeds.
My honest thoughts are the Rushmore radio + line levelers + 4180 does not produce enough of a "really" high end sound to discuss Dynaudio or similar speakers as an option.
I didn't think you had since placement is so limited.
Where would you place the 4180 amp then? Low/mid level? What speakers top out the amp?
I know it's a subjective question since we can't always listen to all the speakers mentioned but it's still a reference point
