CV b52 amp question

I just got my new hertz hcx 165 and was about to order the b52 amp just wondering how do you hook up the amp if the stock radio does not have rca.. does it use the speaker input to get the signal or do I need to buy a converter or something..

I just hooked this amp up tonight on my 14 SGS. It came with a harness to plug the factory speaker connectors in to and come out rca.
