Default UGH Need advice Front Stage

So I am going crazy
I sold the KRC I had
Planned on Components
But I think Im only gonna be running 1 Arc 600.4

Looks like Hertz in the running
#1 Just plain old vanilla Hertz Mille Pro MPX165.3 I know non component
#2 HERTZ HSK-165.4 50-22kHz 250 watts Peak
#3 HERTZ HSK165XL 40 - 22k 300 watts Peak
#4 HERTZ Mille Legend MLK 165.3 40-25,000 Hz 300 watts Peak
#5 HERTZ Mille MPK 165P.3 45 - 22,5k 230 Peak Watts

My fear is that I wont have enough power running the MLK or the 165 XL
The amp will be running 8 total speakers
So if I get the big hitters like the MLK and the Xl they will be paired with a set of Focal PC165 in the tour pak pods.
I may get 4 of the MPX Pro or the HSK 165 non Xl and run them paired of one channel on the ARC
Am I off on my thinking?
If I can squeeze another smaller amp like the MVPA4 to run the 6x9 in the bags I may free up a channel to dedicate to the MLK or the XL

I plan on running ARC 602 in the lowers
1 set of 6x9 in lids for now

So Im rethinking all of it ( Good thing I have all Winter)
Would really like to just run the 8 speakers on the ARC 600.4 and be done (Yea right)

I would never run 8 speakers off the Arc 600.4.

^ What he said! Also The Moto's are great speakers but it takes mega power for them to get loud. I'd think about some different speakers in the lowers. You need loud on the front stage bro. Think high sensitivity speakers that don't take much juice to get loud. Something like the Hertz SV 165.1 if you go Hertz. That's what you want in your lowers. Otherwise you won't hear em going down the road at 75 MPH.

Why wont u hear lowers at 75? Is it because the fairing speakers just over power any lowers at speed?

The moto isnt a parallel amp in my opinion. Its a great 4 speaker amp. But why limit yourself to 75 watts per speaker? The hertz hdp4 is a great amp to run in parallel @ 125 w per channel vs 75w with the moto...I know haze will add to this!

Man I'm not sure I'm buying the watt calculations u have presented. But make sure u factor in my cave man logic and crayon eating tendencies.

When u parallel speakers your load impedance drops which in turn throws down some general assumptions like "lower impedance increases acoustical output" and "speaker output increases because the amplifier's power output rises as the load impedance decreases."

So the 50% reduction you speak of just does not sound right.

With that being said, I would shop hard for killer high SPL components for the fairing in parallel with the Hertz S model that Gann mentioned for the lowers. Run the Pioneer Pro TS6900 in lids off the rear channel and run the Moto 602s in the TP Pods off an NVX or comparable bridged pushing 180w +.

Get some ear muffs, and ride on cause that shix is gonna be loud and clear!!!!

Just sayin!!!

The Arc only does 150 watts per channel whether in 4 or 2 ohm. If running in parallel to get to 2 ohm then it's only 75 watts per pair of speakers. No way in hell I'd run my setup like this.

Appreciate all the feedback guys

Gan
Will the arc @ 150 be enough for the Moto 602 in the Lowers?

Im kinda torn on the Lowers, This summer was hot as **** and they came off.
So adding Speakers will make me want to leave them on.
Same with tour Pak. So amp in tour pak is a no go

Maybe like TW mentioned a NVX in with the Arc will get me there. maybe need to cut back the number of speakers.
Maybe run the Tour pak pods of the deck power, that way when I pull the pak I dont worry about them.
So Arc on the front stage only. 4 speakers
NVX Bridged to run the 6x9 in the lids
See how the pods work on deck power?

OK I need to rest my head lol
