I am a little confused the infinity kappa 62.11i are rated at 75 watts RMS however you all have been stating I should supply at least 125 watts per speaker. The Kenwood KAC-M3004 is rated at 75 watts also. I am sure its my ignorance showing again lol
You need an amp that supplies more than enough power for whatever speakers your gonna use. It's call headroom. This allows your amp to run more efficiently and not be pushed to its limits to operate. Rule of thumb that most go by is speaker rms x 1.8. 75 watts RMS x 1.8= 135.
On a side note the SS 1000d is rated at 250 watts @ 2ohm and the Kappas will handle it all day long.
