Default Biketronics Speaker Issue

Right before Sturgis my right front speaker (BT'S 7.1) on my RG started to act up. The sound was super crackly, doesn't matter the volume. I didn't have time to crack open the fairing and look at the problem before the rally. I finally cracked open the fairing yesterday and my problem still existed. When it was connected to the far left terminal is sounded crackly. So I switched the terminal connections and the sound is clear again. Is this the correct way to hook this up? I wanted to make sure it would be alright before I put the fairing back on. Thanks for all the help!

Looks like you had the hot hooked up to the tweeter only. The way the picture shows now appears correct.
