This is a massive screw up by 77 Customs in every regard. The deception is eye watering bad. Man Law #3 = Accountability!!!! No one else to blame here but the folks that took the cash from the customer / end user.
These 77 boys may attempt to put a bunch of lipstick on this situation via fluffy responses, some finger pointing, and a fed ex truck but the trust that has been lost when u screw over a guy like Slye that walks the walk, is not going to forgotten over a beer.
Trust is earned and it's gonna take a shix ton of perpetual customers service and exemplary business behavior by 77 Customs to regain the trust of most.

Make it right 77!!!!!

I have had the same problem getting warranty with Hertz products as Slye has.
I also have had problems with brand x and the warranty was taken care of in a very timely fashion.
So my question is were does the problem lay.

I've always been taught that what happens in the dark will come out in the light of day. It's just a matter of time fellas.
Slye you are by far a more patient man than myself. I feel you've done the right thing by making this public knowledge and holding them accountable. Cudos.

You too are foolishly blinded if you think the problem is Hertz. It has nothing to do with Hertz. Here's the problem, LL recommended those MLK's and adaptors to Slye....I remember the PM's I had with Slye on MLK vs HSK (I like HSK) but Slye got the MLK based on LL's recommendation. Then the adaptors that LL sold him had a tab that rubbed the speakers and the MLK they took a crap. You'd think 77 with their infinite wisdom (that's sarcasm) would've known that. So Slye continues to promote 77 business here, much like you do thinking his speakers will get replaced and these jokers are good dudes. Well 10 weeks later here we are, and you think this is a rep issue? Dude a forum member who helps people and openly promotes for a vendor is getting screwed over. Wanna know how the business world works, the very next day a set of speakers should've been in the mail. Dealer cost for them is likely around 300.00 that's a tiny investment to keep a guy happy that promotes your business. It's a marketing cost, acceptable loss, you name it --- it's worth the additional business. Instead the very same good guy here had to post this crap and you still defend this idiot.

Theres a reason why BT gets so much love here, and why we liked Bill so damn much. Because their business model is focused on customer service.

To add to this the thing that chapped my *** and pushed me to go public, which I should have sooner, is the fact that I myself called Hertz and am told a fully different story than was fed to me. Even if the rep misled the warranty procedure, as Haze stated I should have had a set sent immediately anyway. On top of that as a business owner I would have went way around a Rep and direct to the warranty dept ( as I had to do myself) and find out what was the deal. The lack of any of the above mentioned efforts to take care of me pisses me off more I think about it. And add insult to injury this all could have been fixed immediately with some pics sent to Hertz. Right now my speakers whereabouts are unknown. And we are on week 13 by the way. LL received them July 1st.

Also a quick 3 way call to the warranty dept was refused as he was closing and didn't have time. But the shop hours are till 6 and this was around 4:30 Eastern time.

Bottom line, a new set of speakers should have been sent out the day they received the return. A store cannot afford to have this type of publicity over $300 set of speakers. One of the biggest reason for Biketronics success has been their ask no questions, just solve the problem customer service.

All lessons in life come with a price.

77...ship the man a set of speakers or refund his money...come on buddy, just do what's right

I've never delt with 77 so I can't say anything about them but I did have a hertz warranty with another shop here. I sent my speakers back to them, they filed a claim with hertz and I had replacements in the mail in about a week or 2. I was told that physical damage was not warranted but that wasn't why I sent them back.

I was also told by a shop that a certain speaker would fit in my fairing and when I tried to mount them I could not see any way to make it work without the speaker rubbing. I didn't take their word for it that it would be fine and I mounted differently.

Okay Jason. Enough is enough bro! Several comments on Slye's thread in regard to customer service from LL247 customs and we're hearing crickets? I've supported your business on the forum and put my name behind it from the beginning in hopes that you would be a successful vendor here. The collateral damage from this experience could potentially ruin your business bro. Pony up and make it right. Not personal. Just business. The present behavior is unacceptable bro!

But I can tell you that if you ask a question about possibly upgrading your system, that the PM's will come your way very, very quickly. Along with emails outside of the forums to boot.

Thirteen weeks??? I would have driven over there many weeks ago. And I don't care how far it would have been!

Where does this leave those of us trying to upgrade our systems, I want simple plug and play and be done with the install?? What happens to support after the sale?? What happens with potential warranty issues?? Can we trust what we are being sold will work in my bike without issues??

I was ready to spend some good coin today or Monday and a 77 upgrade but now I am not so sure and questioning whether it will work and is it really plug and play??

Is this why I bought BT for my other bike??

And that is said with a ton of respect to the guys that are the gurus around here!
