Default Tuning help

Looking for some help fine tuning my system. I'm getting a buzzing sound from the speakers at higher volume. Hope you can hear it in the videos.

System info..........

Kenwood x998
SS PN4.520
Speakers were recommended by a forum member. Not sure if he wants that info public. Here are their specs.......
4" 2 way, 3ohm, 60W RMS, 260W Max.

I have the x998 set very close to the recommendations from Bertk's post. Thanks for any info.

Try inching the freq up just a tad and block a little of that low freq that might be raising hell on ur speaks.

Try a use a song that has been displaying the most rattle or distortion.

Turn internal amp off, turn supreme off, run eq in manual mode flat and work it up or down as needed to get a slightly better sound, BUT I will flat out say if you have a 4" speaker which I believe was a mis post you will never get much out of it midbass wise and would run hpf at 120hz. If a 6.5" eun hpf at 80hz 18db and make sure amp is set in full or all pass.

Not a mis post. They are 4" speakers. Its a 1988 FLHTC. Believe me the are a tight fit too!! I'll set the hpf at 120hz and give that a shot. I'm sure all of the settings in Bertk's post were for 6.5" speakers.

BTW..........Plan on adding lowers with speakers over the winter. Have a extra channel on the amp. Might as well use it.

The x998 settings I posted are generic settings to get folks started. Each setup will differ and require adjustments. I updated the post to emphasize that.
