Ok, have you bought any amps or speakers? Only asking because of your other thread. If you haven't the guys might be able to put something together that you might end up liking better. The ECX is Hertz lower line and isnt as clear sounding as other possible options.

Honestly, just give these guys a budget, how many and where the speakers are going, and what kind of sound you are looking for and they'll set you up right.

Default Got $1100 store credit

I got $1100 credit at the audio shop I'm dealing with and 1 diamond micro 4v2.

Starting over with 1 amp

budget I'd be willing to put more cash in on my $1100 credit $900-$1400 more I want loud clear and only 8 speakers TP, LF, UF, SB.
Amps in fairing A MUST!

We all seem to be having this same conversation on your various threads so I'm going to try and be brutally honest with u in an attempt to save u from yourself.

The Pioneer Pros are a good move. Very damn good 6x9.
The 1 amp you are stuck with will work well.

Putting 6 of the same exact same speakers in the other locations is a failure.
Putting 3 amps on your sled when you could easily manage this setup with 2 amps is a failure.

With that being said, stay focused here bro. The fairing speakers are your absolute most important platform. That is your core focus!!! Find a four channel amp that will mount under the RG hood and the best damn speakers going for the fairing. After u figure that out, then u can work on the complimenting 2 sets that will run in parallel and provide the required fill in TP and lowers.

I will tell u that IMHO that the best damn speaker going is the DD AW 6.5 with the DD AT28 tweets for the fairing location. The B30 tweets are just a touch too big for the RG grills to mount flush unless u get a little creative.

U picking up what I'm laying down? Plenty of good info avail on this forum from the RG guys regarding a solid 4 channel amp that will fit under the HU ur on top of the HL with approx 150x4@4 and approx 225-250x4@2. Identify that amp!!!!

Good luck!!! Stay focused!!!! Killer 4 channel amp and killer fairing speaks.

Does your "Store Credit" mean that you are limited to the brands that store sells? Or did you get cash back and have 1 DA Micro4v2 to work with? If it's an in-house store credit, then we need to know what brands they sell.

They carry all brands and can get those they don't carry

I would get an Arc Audio Moto 600.4 amp and push the DD AW 6.5 with the DD AT28 tweets for the fairing location and power the pioneer 6900 pro's with the other two channels.

For your lowers and rear pods, I would use your DA Micro 4v2 to power two sets of the New Hawg Wired 6.5" NX652-80 2 ohm component speakers. These new Hawg Wired NX 2 ohm speakers are a complete new design utilizing neodymium magnets and a bridge mounted tweeter. These new speakers really raise the bar for Hawg Wired speakers and are designed to fit in Rushmore bikes. These speakers have great warmth and carry a very strong mid-bass.

Ditto! I like it CVO! Was never a big fan of the Hawg wired speakers. But If you're saying these newer ones are legit. I trust your judgement. Gonna have to pick up a set to test. That should be one hell of a system if the Op takes your advice.
