Back in 2015 when the talk was to have your head-unit flashed to 0 amps & 4 speakers (135) I had mine done and it sounded good.
Fast forward to today - I have a 2015 SGS, stock HU, DD D4 amp bridged to 2 Hertz MLK fairing mounted speakers only (no lower or rear speakers)
The HU is still flashed to the 135 setting and it sounds good
I tried the BT LL but it actually sounds better not having the LL's installed with this 135 flash setting.
My question - should I leave things well enough alone with the 135 flash and no LL or should I restore the HU to the stock flash & install the LL's
Which will produce the better sound?

IIRC, that 135 flash was one of the last good ones. If it sounds good leave it alone. And if you ever have a dealer service your bike tell then not to reflash the HU because you won't be able to get it back.

I have a '15 Limited.... probably the same flash but with rear speakers enabled. It was something like...
Speakers: 8
Amp1: No
Amp 2: No
Amp 1 ON
Amp 2 ON
I know, doesn't make any sense.

I ended up with 00on/off.bin. It was crazy back then, guys would take in identical bikes, get flashes with identical setting, and walk out with different BIN files.
The bike sounds awesome, once I took out the LL's & put in the old SN-35s or whatever they are. Everything works.... fade, bass, treble, speed volume, etc. I'm still on 1.19.something, tried a couple of others, sounded worse so always went back.
