Default AD Design CX62 speaker review

I'd like to share an honest review of the AD Design CX62 speakers that I received from Haze at Bagger Audio Lab. I started with a 100% stock 2017 Roadglide Ultra, no line levelers, no amp, no good sound. The performance of the stock setup was so back I would turn off the head unit when I would get on the highway. After reading several postings on this forum I decided it was time to fix this mess. I purchased an Arc 600.4 amp (thanks CVOJoe), 2 BT355 line levelers and the breakout harness from Biketronics, the Arc mounting bracket, Alpine SPR 60 speakers for the rear and AD Design CX62 speakers for the fronts (thanks BAL). I took my time installing the components and experimented to see what components were really making a difference. For me, the system really came to life when I installed the AD Design CX62 speakers. The speakers deliver a clean and clear high and mid range and decent bass which I never had with the stock speakers. The tweeters are adjustable so you can direct them where they sound the best. Installation was a breeze as the holes perfectly line up with the stock holes. The true test for me was on the highway. At 80 mph I had the volume at a little past halfway and ZZ Top was blasting away without distortion or flutter between speakers. Are these the absolute best speakers avialable? Probably not, but they do sound darn good without breaking the bank and they definately are moisture resistent as shown on this video
Here are some pictures of them installed.

Great review, looks like they tucked nicely in your fairing. You wouldn't happen to know offhand the diameter of the magnet and the mounting depth of those speakers would you? The spec sheet is not available online.

The depth is 2.5 inches and magnet is 3 inches. They fit nicely in the pods too.

Default What to add to the lowers?

I currently have the ad designs in my fairing with a ss pn1000d. I have lowers already and want to add speakers for some extra sound stage. What I am wondering is should I put the ad designs in the lowers and something else in the fairings with some horns or just add some tempesta 6.5s in the lower? Input would be appreciated.

Go with the PRV Neo's and the VOB3 horns in the gauge holes. AD's in the lowers.

Get em both from alex@baggeraudiolab.com
