$500 amp/speaker upgrade
Hi, I have a 2015 SGS and I have read hundreds of post so now my head is spinning. My goal is to get the most for my budget in a two speaker system with the stock hu. FM reception isn't a concern. Would like a 4 Chanel amp to bridge. Don't really have any plans to add more speakers, but you never know. Listen to mostly 60's and 70's rock with a little metal every now and again. Mostly ride at less than 70 mph. Thanks for any help that is offered.

Something like a B52 amp will give you 200Wx2 @ 4ohm. That should be plenty for almost any set up in the fairing $135

Soundstream PN4.1000D 1000W 4-Channel Picasso Nano Series Class D Amplifier $120 go to buy sell trade buy some used speakers Biketronics 7.1 or find another choice. Have an amp that can give you more speakers later. My two cents, or you can over think it. I've got a pair of BT's 6.5's sitting in my cupboard, bought them on forums.

Great suggestions from Matt and Gooey! If it were me on a two speaker system I'd go with the JL MHX280/4 and the Moto 602 speakers. This amp bridged to those speakers sounds dam good!!

That's what I've been leaning towards. Do I need the BT line leveler also? And do I need to do anything special for the speakers to fit? Thanks to everyone that has given suggestions.

Yes you will need a BT355 and i had the 602s in the Rushmore pods mounted on the outside and had zero issues with the surround hitting anything with the stock grills.
