I have a 2012 police bike that has a Jensen with 5.25 speakers in it, how should I go about getting a little better sound.
Hello and welcome. My first recommendation is so not hurry. Do LOTS of reading here. Watch the vids section at the top. The answer to your question really depends alot on what ultimately your goals are, how many speakers you are thinking about, if FM reception is important, what type of budget you are working with, any thoughts of future expansion, the list goes on and on. So the guys here can steer you in the correct direction, please answer some of those questions, and most of all, take your time. I know, I know, I rode snowmobile Friday and my bike yesterday but it's still winter. don't do anything too quickly because we have all made tons of mistakes and will do our best to keep you from doing the same.
Kris
these ( 2 ohm) speakers put out more sound per watt than many other speakers, with my stock HD stereo they work quite well. I am in the process of adding a power amp for more clean power.
that'll take me from "a little better sound " to alot better sound
welcome to the forums
Mike
