Same here just did mine, hog tunes with 6900 pros. When you mount the speaker to the, check the length of the screws, the ones supplied might be a tad too short.I used some that were 1/8 inch longer and worked perfect.Make sure to use your speaker cloth sprayed with kiwi camp dry or what ever you like,They fit great and sound awesome!!
Gotta cut the basket out and use the V-Twin Cycles adaptor.
Hold the phone!!!! Rushmore lids or CVO lids?
I think MattMich might be thinking about something other than Hogtunes 2014+ lids.
My 14+ HT lids and Pioneers went in pretty slick. I did file off just a tiny bit of the speaker frame on the aft and hinge side of the speak as it was snug against the lid.

T.
Yeah...I was going to say, cause I had planned on the HT lids for my Rushmore, based mainly on the fact that they will accept a 6x9 speaker without the adapters. They even come with 6x9 speakers for an additional $50.00...right? On another note, (not to hijack the thread) Will I have to get the dealer flash to enable the use of the bag lid speakers, and or do I need to run 2 more BT Line Levelers for the lids?
As for the BT LL u will only need the rear line Leveler that plugs right into an open plug under the hood. Make sure u r real specific of year and model sled when ordering the LL. U don't need or want the breakout harness unless u r on an ultra.
