Default Using sub pre out for full range output

Tried an experiment, used sub pre out of Alpine bt-149 HU for front channel on pn41000d set flat to the Moto 602 in lowers, sounds as if its getting a full range output from amp to the 602s,is that possible? Reason I tried this so I would not have to y the front ch from the mhx 280 bridged. Rear ch on 1000d is going to my lids,6900 pros. This radio is 4v pre out, just hate to split the pre out voltage,it does sound good but might need a processor instead,a little winded sorry. Thanks Paul

Some not all head unit will allow a full range signal from sub pre out. Splitters will not reduce the pre out voltage by anything more than .2 volts or so. Not even noticeable.

Thanks Slye I even adjusted the sub level on the Alpine to about 7 out of 15,Rode the bike, it didn't sound bad at all.Had a bad y adaptor that's why I tried it.Well I will get more y adaptors the week. [Stinger this time] .2 volts being split shouldn't affect output then.Wouldnt mind having a Hertz hdp4 BUT wont fit in my 08 batwing. Thanks again Paul
