Hi
not very satisfied with stock speakers......i was wondering if i will get much improvement by replacing with hog tunes speakers without going the route of replacing/upgrading amplifier. Not really interested in spending a ton of cash, $300 for speakers is kind of ridiculous by itself. I can think of lots of different ways to spend that kind of cash😊

Reason: grammar
Sorry......'14, ultra classic, boom 6.5 radio, fairing and tour pack speakers, don't really want to sacrifice fm, don't understand why new speakers will affect fm radio either. I never was an audiophile I would just like better quality sound without installing an amp and spending a ton of cash. After reading through some of these threads I'm beginning to get the impression i am wasting my time and money by only replacing the speakers?

If u don't go with an amp, don't bother changing speaks. Save a few bucks and reattack later. U will be glad u did.

It'll be the amp that kills the FM. There are a few out there that will help retain it, but those are more than your current budget. As is with some like the Kappas and *** or CV amp you'll be at $300ish and you'll still need to he $80 BT355 to tie it all together.
Check out this thread to see what can be done on a reasonable budget. You'd still need a BT355 though.
