On Facebook in regards to the wiring kits with resistors and etc from American hard baggers? Is it something to look into or not really needed?

Damn I thought this said "what's your opinion OF Haze" I was about to say damn I musta messed something up bad. So it's not American Hardbaggers that came up with this. Using a resistor on the head units has been around since the flashes but folks here have always leaned toward the BT line leveler vs a flash. What happens as I understand it is that when there is no load present on the radio (as a speaker) and you use high level inputs then the signal can return to the radio in the form of distortion. A LOC will take care of that. Companies like AHB and even Arc sell their wiring kits with a resistor to present that load on the radio. "Technically" speaking use a DSP with the resistor to covert the signal instead of a LOC should give you better sound quality but I really think we're splitting hairs here. I find it more practical to use a LOC.

That pretty much answered the question I had. Just curious how they compared for knowledge sake.

I'd be curious to see some comparative data too. Just for shitz and giggles.
