Jl 600/6
Need some help on correct way to wire this up please.
6.5 using arc psm Question is on 600/6 I have channels 1-4 bridged to aw6.5 I have psm output channels 1-2 with y on them l/h into amp channel 1/2 r/h into amp 3/4 then here is where the question comes psm channel 3/4 needs to go into amp channel 5/6 but 5/6 is running mmatts 8ohm parallel and bridged so really that channel is single 4ohm speaker how do I handle rca connection and psm configuration ? options I have tried are.
1. 3/4 from psm both into 5/6 on amp
2. only 3 or 4 from psm into 5or6
3.3/4 from psm and use psm to mute one channel
4.3/4 from psm and use psm mixer to say only have one speaker
all above is with amp set on six channel jl tech says #1 but mmatts sound like crap this way what am I missing.
SO guys what is the right way to hook up rca's to a parallel bridged channel and what if anything is needed for psm. maybe channel 5/6 should not be used this way..

We normally run it similar to 1 but in four channel mode to avoid the extra splitter. Does it sound better/different the other ways. Thinking off the top of my head you need both channels as you are using the pos of one and neg of the other. Have you tried running the speakers straight and not in parallel...how does it sound?
