He is over on that TP Speaker thread. Tesnevo is his call sign. Shoot him a PM as I'm certain his insight will be extremely valuable. He has tested a bunch of stuff in the TPs.

OK, I decided on the Polk MM652's for the rear pods. Also ordering some 1/2" spacers. Looking at plain black push-on grills because the ones that are supplied are hideous. Thanks Tailwind and TES.

I was under the impression that the MM652's dropped in without a spacer. The 651's dropped right in.

I think Tes mentioned they drop in unless you have the passenger headset connection and push to talk switches in the pods.

Correct. My pods have the switches so have spacers will travel!

However, the pods differ ever so slightly on the Rushmore bikes. Try it on your 06 without the spacers first. You may find that you don't need them.

Good call. The Metra spacers are only $10, so I am just gonna order them as a precaution. I'm also gonna order a pair of JL plain black grills.

Can't say that I blame you on both accounts. Better to have the spacers and not need them and the grills on the new Polks are just damn ugly.

Have t been able to test them on later than 2014 bikes yet so I'd order them too just to be safe.
