Before Alex and I put a lot of effort in this, I would like to get a number of how many of you would be coming to this event. To be honest, if Alex is not going to be there, I'm not sure enough interest will be in it. Not only forums members, but also the large and small shops outside of Alabama. I have no problem doing the leg work, but feel without Alex attending, this may need to be rescheduled for next year. Thoughts??
I wouldn't be opposed to just setting up the southern version of a meet and greet. No competition, just riding and such, as the guys did up north. Thoughts again??
Right now end of Sept is looking bad for me. We have a local show mid-September, then mid-October one of our PRV accounts is having a show in SC, then there's another show at BYB first week of November in NC. With the travel I need to take off Friday's and Monday's off work. I'd have to be off every other weekend!!!
There's definitely a desire here to get guys together and listen to different set ups. Even if this is not a "competition" I say you guys still run a meet up and let guys hear and see some installs. I'll do whatever I can to support, send products to Bill for you guys to check out, etc.
I would rather have your tuning expertise than your products!! LOL
Yeah That. I'm still down for a Meet n Greet with some riding thrown in. As long as it's not Sept 6th-10th. If I don't get the Wife up to Maggie Valley I'll have to sleep with the skeeters.
Hey Guys
Did this ever happen? If not are you gonna try it this year?
I would be all in.
No sir it never happened. Don't foresee one happening in the south. There's another thread titled "Mid-West Meet and Greet". Check that one out. They have one scheduled pretty soon.
