Daytona - March 16,17. Cabbage Patch is a good one, then Friday night Sound Off Series and BX Customs are hosting a grudge fest audio shoot out with the best bikes in the country.
Miami - April 21 and 22. In conjunction with Bikes on the Beach I am hosting a two day audio event in Miami. Quite a few big name shops are coming down to support
Myrtle - May 20 and 21 (I think) - Sound Off Series at the Myrtle HD
Detroit - I think that's in June
Philly - September
Key West - September (we'll be hosting one there)
NC - November at Backyard Baggers
These are the big audio comps that I know of and you could easily turn those into a weekend link up and good time. I plan to be at most of these, with the exception of Detroit.
I can't speak for everyone, but for myself, the audio comps just do not appeal to me at all. Was hoping for a Southern States Meet N Greet just for the comradery and putting faces to the folks I've became friends with over the years.
I kind of thought the same way until I went to the grudge fest in Winston Salem last November. I was amazed at how so many people from so many different backgrounds got together like best friends. It was a blast, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and it got me hooked on it. I look forward to the next one I can get to. I've been to bike shows and get together's before, and few I have enjoyed as much as that event.
These are such good guys that, when a guy from the UK saw a video of the event, he posted on the FB page and said how much he wished they had something like that in the UK, that the guys in the group pitched in together to but him a plane ticket to an event this year. You also be surprised at how much this small group does for charities. I've been extremely impressed with the whole thing.
